Before you ask, no, this story does not involve a hobbit 😉 But it still talks about a journey – my journey about leaving and coming back again in order to find what I was looking for all along right at home. So… Let the journey begin
2 weeks prior to the monthly bonus event date all Joanneum-Card holders receive a newsletter informing them that they can now register for the event. On average, the event is fully booked within 2-3 days with several additional people on the waiting list.
Each month we draw 8 people out of all online form submissions who receive a Joanneum-Card for free. The drawing and the respective form landing page are part of a sponsoring contract with Österreichische Lotterien.
All new Joanneum-Card holders receive a welcome package with their new membership card and the current monthly program in print.
All existing Joanneum-Card holders whose card expires at the end of the month receive either a letter or a newsletter to remind them to renew their card.
The monthly bonus event provides an exclusive opportunity for Joanneum-Card holders to get insight into museum jobs at the Universalmuseum Joanneum such as conservation and curating, as well as enjoy special guided programs not accessible to regular museum visitors.
The Joanneum-Card (Joanneumskarte) is a membership card for the Universalmuseum Joanneum and grants entry to all museum sites as well as additional benefits for 12 months at a great price.
