2 weeks prior to the monthly bonus event date all Joanneum-Card holders receive a newsletter informing them that they can now register for the event. On average, the event is fully booked within 2-3 days with several additional people on the waiting list.
The newsletter is our primary means of communication with our card holders. The bonus event is also announced on the last few pages of our monthly program. However, not every card holder receives the monthly program per mail or e-mail, therefore they rely on our bonus newsletter to get updated on the upcoming event.
The e-mail subject always starts with “BONUS:” and then the event title, so the recipient immediately knows what the newsletter is about. Event location, dates, time and registration are right at the top with the event description below and an image at the bottom. That way the reader gets the most important information right away. The newsletter is being sent through our CRM so we can track the users read activity.
New personalized form landing page
Going forward we will include a tracker link to a personalized URL where card holders can simply register for the event via a form landing page with prefilled form data independent from office opening hours. In addition, we can associate the CRM contact with our bonus event campaign, export our registration list and analyze the event success.
